Hello guys, Happy April Fool’s day! I don’t know if you’ve fallen for any of the April fool’s jokes today. I certainly have not. Which is really strange, because I’m a worrisome type; the kind that gets concerned and wants to act and change the world immediately I receive troubling messages.
This morning, my BB went off, it was a message from one of my friends. Just to show you the kind of crazy friends I have, the message read: suspected palace coup in Nigeria
My initial reaction was to panic, and then, I thought – come on, this is April fool’s day!
My other phone goes off and it’s Jade, one of the producers on my show.
She sent me a message - Turai had been made a minister! By then, I already knew she was trying to fool me.
I tried to fool someone else, but that didn’t work either.

ReplyDeleteI was fooled... my elder sister came home after work with a ring on her finger, announcing that she was engaged. Knowing she has a serious relationship, i believed her and started screaming and jumping up and down.
Alas she screamed "April Fooooooooooool".
I hate april fools day!
I am a teacher, school vacated on Wednesday. On Thursday at 10.30am I got a call from a colleague of mine. She sounded really troubled asking where I was staying that we were asked to report to school. While I was trying to get out of bed in a hurry, my eyes got caught up on the calender then I screamed April fool.She couldn't help but laugh.
ReplyDeleteI received a call at 6am from my niece, she was crying and telling me that my elder sis just had a heart attack. She told me the name of hospital.I left for the hospital in a hurry,on my way I received another call from my niece. This time, she was singing the April fools song. It wasn't funny at all then but now, when i remember it, i can't help but laugh
ReplyDeleteDidn't have any experience, but I think it is just one of those days we get to relax a bit from the everyday work, get pranked by loved ones, we could be mad at them for a moment but then we end up laughing at ourselves! it is fun...thanks everyone for sharing your experiences
